Major Millions’s name is inspired by two things. Firstly, the slot offers you the chance to win a Major sum of money. When reading through the game rules, it seems relatively easy to win the jackpot at first. You must hit five Major Millions symbols in one spin. It wouldn’t be such a high jackpot if Microgaming made it too easy for us though, so there are of course some requirements involved. The progressive jackpot will only be won if the five Majors Millions symbols are displayed on line 15. Line 15 is a zig zag, going up and down from reel 1 to 5. It starts on the bottom row of reel 1, the middle row of reel 2, the bottom row of reel 3, the middle row of reel 4, and lastly the bottom row of reel 5. Additionally, you must be betting with 15 coins in order to win the jackpot. If you don’t want to play with 15 coins, you can always just enjoy the game for its other features.
Wilds and Scatters in Major Millions
Besides the possibility to activate the jackpot, the Major Millions symbol simultaneously functions as a Wild, multiplier symbol. The Major Millions acts as a substitution, meaning that it can substitute for any symbol in order to create a winning combination. The only exception to this rule is the Scatter symbol, which can not be substituted by the Major Millions symbol. Something else to be excited about when a Major Millions symbol completes a winning combination, is that your payout will be tripled. This only counts when it completes the combination though, so don’t cheer to loud when multiple symbols appear in a line. Last but not least, Scatter symbols are also part of this progressive jackpot slot. When at least three of these symbols appear on a bet line, you will be awarded the coin win multiplied by the total number of credits staked. Three Scatters award 3 credits, four Scatters award 10 credits and 5 Scatter symbols award 50 credits. You can see how this can award quite the price.
